BAS have been working with Italian manufacturer Handytech for several years. After impressing with their genuine passion to provide a ‘life without boundaries’ for customers, BAS have been selected as sole UK distributor to supply the new exceptional Going wheelchair to UK dealers and consumers.
BAS are continuing to break new ground for those with a disability, providing a fun, new and environmentally-friendly means of mobility with the Going. This Italian designed all-terrain, all-weather wheelchair means that people will be able to reach places considered inaccessible until now, resulting in incredible freedom of movement. This is exactly why BAS feel there is a need for the Going, providing a modern and stylish wheelchair that allows disabled people to experience life to the full.
Following suit from the latest Segway trend, the Going wheelchair has revolutionary self-balancing technology, allowing users to move backwards and forwards using torso movements to manoeuvre, as well as a multitude of other features; some of which include all-terrain tyres, night-time lights, stabiliser for added safety, digital power display, water repellent cushion and reclining orthopaedic back.
The Going combines all the most elevated electronic technology solutions with the most advanced mechanical engineering of the modern time and the BAS team, led by Managing Director, Bill Bradley, were keen to become the sole UK supplier of such an innovative and ground-breaking product.
Already specialising in regular and bespoke vehicle adaptations for those with disabilities, BAS have established themselves as one of the UK’s leading suppliers and installers in the industry, and will be celebrating the business’s 35th birthday in 2017. The BAS team pride themselves on providing a quality, professional and supportive service, and the Going Wheelchair Segway has most certainly added to that credibility.
Speaking of the pioneering wheelchair, Bill Bradley comments “Everyone at BAS is incredibly proud to be part of this exclusive launch and supply of the Going Wheelchair with Segway Technology – being such a state-of-the-art product that could really change people’s lives. It is an exciting new venture not only for our team, but for anyone who purchases one. Genuinely caring for our customers is what sets us apart, so to be able to offer a product that can bring so much freedom in a modern-designed way is so important to us, emphasising our motto – life without boundaries.”
Now on sale from their Warrington showroom, the Going Segway Wheelchair is expected to fly off the shelves during 2017 and beyond, offering a new sense of freedom to people with disability across the UK.
