COVID-19 CUSTOMER SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
Here at BAS we take the safety of our staff and customers extremely seriously and it is our utmost priority to keep them as safe as possible.
In order to do this you should arrange an appointment to visit the premises, to ensure that other visitors will not be on the premises at the same time. Hand sanitiser is provided in the waiting area, which we ask all visitors to use on entry.
Only one visitor will be allowed in the waiting room at any one time (unless all members of the same household). All public areas will be cleaned twice daily, and always after a visitor has left the premises.
Where possible our staff will maintain a 2 meter distance. If a customer needs to get into a vehicle on our premises then the steering wheel, gear lever, controls, door handles etc. will be wiped before the customer gets into the vehicle (and then again when the customer exits the vehicle).
Whilst working on vehicles, our technicians will wipe the steering wheel, controls etc. before starting work and again when work is completed.
In the case of the handover of a vehicle to a customer, where our staff member needs to be in a vehicle with the customer, then both will be provided with face masks and gloves in addition to the cleaning referred to above – the gloves and masks should be disposed of after use. We may also be able to use a portable screen to separate people within a vehicle.
