BAS are the first to fit Tesla hoist in the UK!

BAS are proud to be the first installers in the UK of a wheelchair/scooter hoist to the Tesla Model X. The Tesla Model X is an electric all wheel drive and is the safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history. With all-wheel drive and a 100 kWh battery providing 351 miles of range, Model X has ample seating for seven adults and all of their gear. And it’s ludicrously fast, accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in as quick as 2.9 seconds. Model X is the SUV uncompromised.

BAS fitted the 40kg Folding Autochair hoist to the vehicle at Tesla Motors Manchester South, making them the first installers in the UK to complete the adaptation in this vehicle. BAS are once again proud to be leading innovators in their field and continue to push the boundaries with the adaptations undertaken.
