On Friday 22nd was the third Cheshire Independent Living Awareness Day (CILAD). This was all about information and advice with exhibition stands to assist disabled people to live independently.

The intention was to raise awareness of the range of facilities available to help disabled people but at the same time provide a fun filled day for all the school holiday family to enjoy. Apart from the usual kiddie’s rides, bouncy castle, face painting etc, there was heaps of entertainment including a deaf choir, the internationally renowned visually impaired opera singer Denise Leigh and a whole range of other fun filled activities.

All of us at BAS had a lovely day!
