The 2019 Disability Awareness Day was held at Walton Hall and Gardens on Sunday 14th July and the BAS team were proud to be corporate sponsors of the event once again.
Not only did we sponsor the event, we also exhibited as we do every year and this year we had our biggest stand yet, directly facing the main arena.
The day was a huge success and is a fantastic event which focuses on what people living with disabilities CAN DO and not what they can’t.
Speaking on the event, MD Bill Bradley said “The Disability Awareness Day is the highlight of our year in terms of shows and exhibitions. It is always a fantastic day full of positivity and energy. We spoke with lots of people living with disabilities and were able to help them find out about the adaptations which will be most suited to their needs. It was a great day all round and we are already looking forward to next year’s event”
