On Tuesday 12th March, we were extremely lucky to have a visit from the very inspiring Helen Dolphin MBE. In the late 90’s Helen contracted a form of Meningitis and as a result of which became a quadruple amputee. Helen decided to share her story and was actually offered the opportunity to train as a Journalist with Anglia News, working as a reporter for them for 8 years. She then decided to branch out on her own and is now an advocate for disabled people, particularly focused on driving and vehicle adaptations. She is also Chair of several committees/organisations such as East Anglia Driveability and the joint committee for the Mobility of Disabled People.
During the visit we showed Helen all of our products and particularly focused on our brand new Push/Pull Brake/Accelerator. Helen couldn’t believe how many safety advances our product has over current Push/Pulls on the market and she really loved the product……
Thank you so much for coming to visit Helen and we can’t wait to develop our working relationship with you over the coming months.
