Stedall – Automatic Axial Door System (AAD)
Description
The automatic axial door opener is a revolutionary system for automatically opening and closing the original front passenger door on a number of different commercial vehicles. As far as Stedall are aware there is no other system of this type on the market.
The system comprises a ram and motor and actuator which has been tested over hundreds of thousands of cycles.
The system which is virtually silent operates electrically via either remote control or a button on the dash.
Safety is of course paramount and the system is designed to cease operating at any time by the press of a button. There is also a built in back up in that if door movement is prevented by an obstruction the motor will immediately stop and then move in the opposite direction very slightly to release any pressure.
