While BAS NW Ltd takes every reasonable step to ensure timely completion of work, we cannot accept liability for any indirect losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, inconvenience, or additional costs incurred due to delays in vehicle adaptations or part availability. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products, as per the terms outlined in our warranty

All adaptations and modifications performed by BAS NW Ltd are covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Certain components may have extended manufacturer warranties—please refer to individual product documentation. Any unauthorised alterations or tampering with our installations may void the warranty.

Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR Compliance)

BAS NW Ltd is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We collect and process customer information solely for order fulfilment, service provision, and legal compliance (such as VAT exemption records). Your data will never be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Force Majeure Clause (Delays Beyond Your Control)

In such cases, we will inform you promptly and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue

Pricing, VAT, and VAT Exemption

All prices listed are in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT at the standard UK rate of 20%, unless otherwise stated.

If you are eligible for VAT exemption under the UK government’s rules (e.g., for disability-related vehicle adaptations), you must inform us at the time of booking. To qualify for VAT exemption, you will need to complete and sign a VAT waiver form before we proceed with your order. Failure to provide the required VAT exemption documentation at the time of purchase will mean VAT is charged.

Payment Terms

We accept secure payments via debit and credit cards using our trusted payment gateway (Worldpay).

For bespoke orders or vehicle adaptations requiring specially ordered parts, a non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. This deposit covers the cost of ordering parts and labour scheduling. If you cancel after payment but before work begins, we may retain part or all of the deposit to cover costs incurred. If cancellation occurs after work has started, additional charges may apply.

Guarantee and Warranty

All products supplied are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. If a fault occurs during this period, we will repair or replace the item after inspection. If the defect is confirmed, we will also cover reasonable return postage costs.

Shipping and Delivery

We aim to dispatch goods within 2 working days of order confirmation. Delivery is therefore expected within 48 hours of dispatch, subject to stock availability. If an item is out of stock or delayed, we will inform you promptly.

Damaged Goods or Partial Deliveries

We ensure all goods are thoroughly checked and securely packaged before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged or is incomplete, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt. If any items appear faulty or missing, and it is not stated on your invoice as an “out of stock” item, please report this immediately.

If you are not planning to use an item immediately, we still advise checking it upon delivery to confirm its condition. We will do our best to ensure prompt and complete deliveries, but we are not liable for any additional costs or inconvenience caused by late or incomplete shipments.

Returns and Refunds Policy

If you wish to return an item, please contact us first to obtain authorisation. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt.

Returned items must be: Unused and in their original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase and properly labelled with a clear reason for return.

Refunds will only be issued after the returned goods have been received and inspected. Carriage costs for returning non-faulty items are the responsibility of the customer. If goods are faulty, we will arrange collection at our expense.

Product Specification and Accuracy

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, dimensions, and technical specifications are accurate at the time of publication. However, minor variations in product specifications may occur, and we reserve the right to update details when necessary. If you require absolute precision on any measurements or product specifications, please confirm with us before ordering.
